Welcome to Crooksbarn Parents and Friends Association (CPFA). Our objective is to advance the education of the pupils at Crooksbarn Primary School, in particular by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school, and by engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the School and advance the education of the pupils. We organise a range of fundraising activities such as the school discos and summer and Christmas fairs and we also decide how to spend the monies raised to support activities in the school.
Find out more about becoming a member – We are always delighted to welcome new members. Whatever time you are able to spare would be much appreciated – you don’t need to attend every meeting to be involved.
Match Funding Does your employer Fund Match? Do you work for a bank, supermarket or other large corporation? If so, they may operate a Fund Match scheme whereby you can claim money to match funding that we raise through the CPFA (which is a registered charity) at one of our events. This is often not well publicised so we’d really appreciate it if you could ask your HR department. If you are able to help in this way, please speak to Mrs Ayres, any member of the CPFA or email firstname.lastname@example.org Thank you for all your support.
We are a very active group; in December alone, CPFA have supported school with a very successful Christmas fair, an after school film night for pupils of all ages and served refreshments at school nativities and plays!
