CPFA

Welcome to Crooksbarn Parents and Friends Association (CPFA). Our objective is to advance the education of the pupils at Crooksbarn Primary School, in particular by developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school, and by engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the School and advance the education of the pupils. We organise a range of fundraising activities such as the school discos and summer and Christmas fairs and we also decide how to spend the monies raised to support activities in the school.

Find out more about becoming a member – We are always delighted to welcome new members. Whatever time you are able to spare would be much appreciated – you don’t need to attend every meeting to be involved. For more information please email our Chair, Sarah Rennie: CBPFA@sbcschools.org.uk

Find out more about our numbers club – It costs just £12.00 a year to purchase a number in our numbers club and each month three numbers are drawn out and win prizes! (prizes will be paid by cheque.) The winners are announced in assembly and also posted on the noticeboards in the playgrounds. The deadline for sign-ups is September each year. Please contact the Numbers Club Treasurer, Janice Purcell, for more information.

JOINING LETTER Sept 2015 – Aug 2016

Match Funding Does your employer Fund Match? Do you work for a bank, supermarket or other large corporation? If so, they may operate a Fund Match scheme whereby you can claim money to match funding that we raise through the CPFA (which is a registered charity) at one of our events. This is often not well publicised so we’d really appreciate it if you could ask your HR department. If you are able to help in this way, please speak to Mrs Simpson, Mr Hart, any member of the CPFA or email louharrison@hotmail.co.uk Thank you for all your support.
